NOt responsive
« on: October 17, 2021, 01:59:12 pm »

Currently my forum(s) are running very slow and I have to click on anything twice in order for it to work and I am also unalbe to put html into posts like I used to be able to do.

https://championsofeurope.createaforum.com/index.php > This is the worst one

http://www.europeanfootballleague.co.uk/index.php > I can still do html with this one

I haven't seen any other reports of slow down. Do you have any scripts installed in your headers/footers? Is it at certain page or all pages?

In regards to html what happens?

No nothing added to headers or footers and it happens on most pages.  SOmetimes I have to click 'refresh' and then click on the element/item I want.

When I try to add html to any thread it just doesn't display.
Eg;
Quote
<br>
 CLIFTONVILLE<br>
 <br>
 <object type="text/plain"
 data="http://www.championsofeurope.co.uk/Seniors/cli.txt" border="0"
 height="450" width="850"></object>
 <br>
 <br>
 <br>
 SWINDON<br>
 <br>
 <object type="text/plain"
 data="http://www.championsofeurope.co.uk/Seniors/swi.txt" border="0"
 height="450" width="850"></object>
 <br>
 <br>
 <br>
 LEEDS<br>
 <br>
 <object type="text/plain"
 data="http://www.championsofeurope.co.uk/Seniors/lee.txt" border="0"
 height="450" width="850"></object>
 <br>
 <br>
 <br>
 LILLE<br>
 <br>
 <object type="text/plain"
 data="http://www.championsofeurope.co.uk/Seniors/lil.txt" border="0"
 height="450" width="850"></object>
 <br>
 <br>
Just displays as:
CLIFTONVILLE

SWINDON

LEEDS

LILLE
But was displaying properly when I posted threads before

I am unfamiliar with html object tag in that context haven't seen it used to display text before.

Your site seems speedy on my end. I clicked around a bunch of the links. Do you have ad block or browser extensions enabled?

Sorry. for late reply.
It's possible it could be firefox but it is just my createaforum sites that are having this issue and not any others.

I now cannot edit any links in the sites either.  I get this:

I have also lost a thread I posted last night. Two members added replies to the post this morning but when I logged in about 10.30 (UK time) it had disappeared.

This post.

Posts shouldn't disappear. Do you have another mod/admin?
Also make sure you enable the recycle bin under admin -> Boards -> Settings
Enable recycling of deleted topics

Try now editing the links. I made a change, was working on some optimizations yesterday for it. But change it back.
