Simple question

Please how do I make it  so that after registering or logging in, a user is directed to the index, not the homepage.

Hmm I think I need to build a feature for that since ezPortal is the default page normally.

Yes I too think it should be an added feature for CAF. You know...Most new members like to see what's happening in the site immediately they join. They might not even bother to click the forum tab.
 I noticed that new members reply to the topics in the 'recent topics' block very often. It could mean that they didn't know that the main thing is in the forum tab ;)

Just an addition you might also consider...
Could also make it such that if a user is viewing a topic as a guest, and he logs in, he's still redirected to the topic he was viewing instead of going all the way back to the home page.
