I can do a database backup of your forum for $50. I have write and create a database export system since it does not exist yet to export the specific tables for your forum.

A database consists of a .sql file which can be used to import into other software that is as far as I will go and will not be able to provide support beyond the data file itself.

Ok that will be great thanks, the new forum is on smf so hopefully not much data will be missing. How and where do I pay and how long will it take?

If you have paypal payment to sales@smfforfree.com
I can provide a database backup file within 24 hours as soon as I finish writing/developing the export script.

From there you would install SMF 2.0 rc3 on godaddy when installing use the database prefix of your subdomain on createaforum
Then import the .sql datadump file though phpmyadmin or sql import on godaddy.
Finally grab the repair settings tool from simplemachines.org to fix any path issues.

Ok I appreciate that. Would settings like user names and passwords, posts be transferred safely?
