how to limit certain threads to members only

so i want everyone (even guest) who goes to my forum to see all the catagories. but once they click on a catagory to see what's in it. i only want registered members to see what inside that catagory how do i do it?

ok that's what i thought because i did try to find that option but couold not find it. thanks for getting back to my question. save me time from trying to look for something that isn't there thank you
