I notice that just by going to a new page on my forum, around 20-30 credits are used. I thought one credit was used for every advert that would have appeared. We are not a busy forum, and I am sure they didn't get used up at this rate in the past. I would be grateful for some light on this!

That is the case. Could be some bots we detect most bots and do not count search engine visits.

It is still as bad today! I have just opened a 'new page' and 29 credits were used. Is it possible to sort this out, please?

Do you mean the ''bot's'' IPs? I guess there's no way of finding that out, then.

Yeah. Basiclly from who;s online would require scanning each ip.
