A forum member cannot post topics on their computer
« on: April 03, 2020, 10:59:22 am »
Since I am a forum moderator, one of the members approached me for help but I don't know how to help him ... the problem is he can't post a new topic using his account but only on his computer. On other computers, everything is fine. Attached is a screenshot. No NewTopic option. What is the problem? Please Help

Does that forum give the user permission to post in?
If you send the user the new topic link does it allow them to post?

Yes, forum members are allowed to post in.And yes, when I send a user a link it is allow them to post and even to reply.
But when he tries to see, for example, his reply to the topic, when he is logged in, he gets the screen like in attachment, and he can't delete his reply if he wants to, or modify it.

That member is on the unread topics page.... There is no option to add topics/do replies or any actions at all from that page...

Just click on the home button...
The only way there is if you click the link "Show unread posts since last visit." on the top of your page in the header

Do you have topic approval on?

If you login as the member directly do you see anything wrong?

I have no idea what else it could be from.

All I see from the screenshots he is on the unread topic page...Which he should not be.
