Is there a way to not show the info center until a user is actually logged in?

I think with permissions you can remove some of that such as stats and whos online.

Maybe just gets more complicated. If I have to do permissions per menu item item.

Hmmm... I see your point I think.

For me, as far as permissions go,  it would be sufficient if 1) all custom tabs as a group are only shown on login and 2) they can be positioned. But that's me.
