The help button was removed a long time ago. But can still be accessed under /index.php?action=help

The small ezportal guide: http://support.createaforum.com/guides-and-tutorials/%28guide%29-ezportal-guide/

I read this in the tutorial
"After you create the page, you will be brought back to the page where you started but now you will see your new pages title and link. That link can be distributed to lead people directly to that page.

It can also be used in a custom tab (feature not on CreateAForum yet)" I tried this and found that was the case. I am also wondering with the change to "Home' and 'Forum' id that is why the cutom tabs are not now working?

Where did you get the the link http://thenewretreat.createaforum.com/index.php#c2
It should be http://thenewretreat.createaforum.com/index.php?action=forum#c2 when you have ezportal enabled.

The menu ezBlock allows you to create a list of links inside a block either vertical or horizontal to make menu example:
Staff Page Link
Important Link 2
Important Link 3
etc

For your custom tabs links you just need to add ?action=forum before the #c in the urls and then they should work ok.

The original custom tabs were set up well before I recently installed Ezportal so thanks for the update info. They now work fine.
Thanks again for all the help I have been given 1st class. I am not sure how I got the information to add them, I suspect I got help from the support team. :)

As for Menu block I no longer need that with the custom tabs working but thanks for the info. Actually I was not even sure what I did was done correctly.

I added 'Help' as a custom tab thanks for the info for that too. :)

All the help I have been given has been very much appreciated.

I am 'getting there'.
