Incorrect ban
« on: October 05, 2013, 11:31:47 am »

Okay, so I've seen sometimes I was banned on some websites which I see for first time. My IP is static. I don't know why anyone would ban me on a site that I see for the first time. I'll describe the mistake many people do when they ban people.

So let's say there is an IP address which is dynamic and looks like I have to ban 91.144.*.*, but no! That's not the correct way of you doing it. Even if it seems that the range is 91.144.*.*, it doesn't mean that it's true. I've found a pretty useful page about this: I select the appropriate country for the IP address (in this example, Hungary), i click it, then i search for 91.144 on the page. And i see that it's not 91.144.*.*. It's 91.144.64-127.*. If you don't get what it means, these are IPs 91.144.64.*, 91.144.65.*, 91.144.66.* ... etc ... until 91.144.127.*.

People, please don't make such mistakes.
Don't ban innocent people

Error which I see is "Contact support for"
