But we do want to buy the upgrades. And these did slow our website down. Adding larger file sizes made the website unusuable. Other custom forums also noted this, but never improved. This stopped them from being usable. So we can not use them and they violate our TOS. Members noted that websites displayed slowly on their browsers. We did tests, and this is on your end. My computer works fine, by the way. But adding the extra stuff slows it down to a crawl. This is because of poor net code. We can fix that. We have developers standing by. But we can also move to ProBoards, who does not experience this issue. As the paid-for premium and exalted solution, we do want more from you. In your market, there is also Reddit, who does not police their product. However, it is still inferior to the graphical quality you do exhibit, but say is not your intended current style.

You have complete control over the CSS and style the forum. Check under admin -> Style Manager  for different built in options or customize css thought that.
We do have a built in photogallery that is free, censors and ads can be removed with ad free plan.

At this due to lack of users we are not doing many major updates, and most free forum providers are in the same boat. Reddit has won.

Just for reference - when I started our forum, there was another one started for the same group of people on Reddit.

The Reddit one is dead and ours is still thriving. I understand this is not a universal experience - just saying that between our moderation and the way that we have customized and set up on your platform... none of the people who were choosing were that familiar with either, which I think says a lot about the viability of this.

If this platform were to shut down, I would work to move the group to Discord instead of Reddit as the features that they have come to appreciate (image posting, threading/channels, gifs, etc.) are more available on Discord than Reddit.

But we are rather comfy in our current home and hope that you are not going anywhere.
