well, I don't think that it could really refresh in 1 second - even hitting the browser refresh button takes longer than that. As far as I'm aware, nothing on the forum is displayed in real time, the browser page has to be refreshed each time. I have banner adverts with about 10 different banners, but it will only show a different banner each time the page is refreshed.
Its not like this that function just only refresh the shoutbox and its not alot and its totally different from reloading the whole page.
I think this function is disabled as it is not working even i tried 5 seconds in value box. Admin should have a look.
