Forum Suggestion - Trophies & Points

Hello everyone! I am G&G-Fan (I'm known here as Godzilla1990s, since for some reason it wouldn't accept G&G-Fan when I was registering). I run a community forum for my upcoming 2D giant monster fighting game called Brink of Armageddon: Age of the Kaiju. I would like to make a suggestion for an added feature: Trophies and Points.

Lets say, for example, someone reaches 1,000 messages. They could then earn a trophy, and earn some points (Example: "A Lot to Say: You have posted at least 1,000 messages on this forum" and you would earn 30 points). The concept is pretty simple, and something I would like to see added.

Would this be possible for a new CreateAForum feature?

Your suggestion is quite similar to the badge system. Maybe they should replace that with your idea!

Yes, but what I'm saying is that we could use karma in place of your points idea, as karma already exists.
