New Badge Awards system for CreateAForum.com

CreateAForum.com has just rolled out Badge Awards new feature to all hosted forums.

Forum members earn badges automatically by completing certain tasks such as posting milestones such as 1 post, 1000 posts, 5000 posts etc. Users can also earn badges for completing different actions such as adding an avatar, signature, searching, uploading pictures etc. Users can also earn level badges by earning a certain amount of badges for each level. Some benefits of Badge Awards system are increasing user engagement in the forums and takes advantage of the new gamification trends that are happening online.
Over 50+ badges are already built into the system and are ready to use.

Another neat part is you can expand the badges by uploading custom badges to forum then you are able to give those badges to members.

To install and enable this feature go to the admin panel and click on the badges link.

More badge system updates
+Added checking to see if the badge action is already used
+Added badge detail when clicking on a badge in profile list tells some information about the badge
+Board index recent badge listing now includes a link to the users badges from the badge title
+Added badge progress under a user's profile
+Better checking poll vote award
!Fixed missing pm text strings that could occur
!Detection of more mobile devices Blackberry,Android,Sprint,Vodaphone,Nokia for the Mobile Badge Award
+Added setting to show the total number of badges a member earned in their post
!Better handling of guests posts does not try to show badges
+Added support for awarding good karma points
+New setting to control number of items on board display
+Added support for the poll starter award
+Added text in pm to tell the number of karma points awarded
+Added option to delete badges from member history page in the admin area
