Slow Running

There seems to be a serious problem with the server at present. My Common Room forum ( http://thecommonroom.createaforum.com ) takes ages to load as does this support forum. What is the problem and can we expect a solution soon?

We are running system backups at the moment. Have one more site to go.
Should be back to normal in the next 48 hours.

I have heard from someone in the web design business that some hosting companies are moving their servers to the USA. Is ours one of them? I am glad to say that the forums are now loading quicker, although sometimes they fall back to a crawl!
