Create A Forum - Support Forums

A few of our members - including me from this morning - have lost some of the colour on forum pages. I am using Light Red, and the maroon banners have been replaced by a pale blue. Also the Profile, Messages etc options only appear when you run the cursor over them. This only happens with the Google Chrome browser. It is fine on Firefox or Edge - which suggests something has gone awry with Chrome. However, the Light Blue style works perfectly!


It's a real mystery! Has anyone else noticed any gremlins if using Chrome? A screenshot is below, click on it to enlarge. You can see the forum heading is still maroon, but all the banners in posts/replies are pale bluey/grey.

Is there a way to simply show the YouTube url instead of a large picture-style image? It takes up so much room, and on tablets, stretches out the page. I have the "Embed Flash into posts" box un-ticked, but this doesn't stop it appearing as a picture. I am sure there is a way, but I have trawled through the many headings in Admin and can't find it!

One of our members cannot log in, he gets a 'You are Banned' message. He has emailed me for help and I have looked at the ban list in admin, but his username isn't there. I certainly haven't banned him, so I can't un-ban him! I can't see that it is a problem with his computer and wonder if you have any ideas or how we can get him back on the forum. Any help would be appreciated.

If you're admin, go to the first post, moderate and edit the topic title. All future posts will have the new title. You can add the address in the first post if you wish.

And then find " Contact members using the personal messaging system"

I did as you said, but cannot find the above anywhere. I have a 'guest' group and wish to disable the PM system for them. There doesn't seem to be any reference to personal messaging amongst the permissions.

Is it possible to disable the PM system? I have searched but can find no way to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

Could you please do the necessary to add my credits?
