Title: Photobucket
Post by: sampast on July 08, 2017, 03:33:02 pm
Has anyone else had problems with seeing pictures on their board?

So one of our admin has all our board pictures in her photobucket, and now we can't seem to see any of the pictures. We keep getting a message that she has to upgrade her photobucket to support 3rd party housing. You can read more about it here: http://blog.photobucket.com/please-review-latest-changes-photobucket/

In the meantime, other members of the board have photobucket accounts and we see their pictures just fine. Assuming we can create another photobucket account, does anyone know of a way of moving all the pictures over?

Or can anyone suggest a better way to add pictures to the board, other than photobucket?
Thanks,
Sam

You can add the images in the photogallery or use another third party image hosting service.

Yes photobucket changed their terms of service.

Putting my 2 cents in.  Photobucket is requiring  $399.99 per year for you to be able to use your images on boards.  That is what they are calling 3rd party hosting.  In other words they have gotten greedy.  I had 2 accounts with them and I just deleted them.

Yeah should be based on usage/tiers that is really expensive and should be for top users only.

How do I add the pictures in the photo gallery?

What is another third party image hosting service?

imgur.com works well. I switched to it years ago after i abandoned the uselessness that is imageshack.
imgbox.com is nice too. I'd recommend either of those.
